Heather Willey

Heather Willey is a seasoned professional in social media and program coordination, currently serving as a Social Media Specialist at Ohio History Connection since June 2023. Willey has extensive experience with the Archaeological Institute of America as a member since April 2015 and previously worked as a Social Content Coordinator and Senior Social Media Content Expert at BARK from September 2019 to June 2023. Between March 2018 and November 2019, Willey contributed as a Board Member for The Ohio State University Anthropology Public Outreach Program, designing workshops and competitions for K-12 students. Other notable roles include Special Event Coordinator at The Ohio State University, where logistics for deploying iPad kits to freshmen were managed, and State Office Coordinator for the Ohio Science Olympiad, overseeing event databases for STEM programs. Willey holds a Master of Science in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from The Ohio State University.
