Steve Demetriou

Steve Demetriou serves as the State Representative for District 35 in the Ohio House of Representatives since November 2022, focusing on servant leadership and integrity for Northeast Ohio. As Principal at Scythe LLC since March 2016, Demetriou transitioned from military service to entrepreneurship, having previously owned and led a small business acquired from January 2018 to July 2021, where rights to develop 13 stores were obtained. Demetriou's military career spanned from May 2011 to May 2016 as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, where key leadership roles included Rifle Platoon Leader managing a team of over 40 soldiers and $20 million in equipment, and Reconnaissance Platoon Leader overseeing more than 30 soldiers and $30 million in equipment. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
