Fernando Lopez has extensive work experience as an engineer in various industries. Fernando began their career as an Assistant Project Engineer at Bufete Industrial Constructions, where they focused on learning project management processes and overseeing the construction of an ammonia processing plant for Pemex. Following this, they joined Ohio Medical Corporation as a Project Engineer. In this role, they custom designed central air and vacuum systems for medical and industrial applications using Solid Works software. Fernando also handled tasks such as designing industrial control panels, creating and updating bills of material, and programming PLCs.

Fernando Lopez obtained their Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, which they pursued from 1982 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Popular Autonoma de Veracruz from 2012 to 2014.
