Daija Kidd is an experienced professional in legislative assistance and community engagement, currently serving as a Senior Legislative Assistant for the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus since January 2023 and as a Coordinator for the Ohio Black Maternal Health Caucus. Previous roles include Legislative Aide for the Ohio House of Representatives, Project Intern at the Columbus Coalition for the Homeless, and Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State Child Care Center. Daija has also worked as a Voter Engagement Organizer for URGE: Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity and served as Co-Chair for the Young Democratic Socialists at OSU. Educational qualifications include a double major in Sociology and African American/African Studies with a minor in Public Health from The Ohio State University and a Cosmetologist License from the Sandusky High School Career Center.
