George Poulios

George Poulios is an experienced policy advisor currently serving in the Ohio Senate Majority Caucus since February 2021. Previously, George worked as a project manager at the Government Resource Center, where responsibilities included overseeing evaluation design and assessments for the 1115 Substance Use Disorder Waiver Demonstration. As the Director of Federal Government Affairs and Public Policy at Rite Aid Corp., George prepared policy memos and reports on legislative activities. Additionally, George held significant roles in the Ohio Treasurer of State's office, managing the legislative agenda and assisting with the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience Act, and spent over six years in various capacities within the U.S. House of Representatives, culminating as Chief of Staff. George's early career included work with the International Republican Institute, focusing on training for Iraqi political parties. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University.
