Claire Naisby is an experienced professional in energy and sustainability management, currently serving as the Building Systems Integration Manager for Facilities Management at Ohio University since December 2015. In this role, Claire provides leadership in managing and strategically planning energy and water conservation efforts, as well as implementing efficiency strategies and technologies. Previously, Claire worked as an Energy & Engineering Associate at Essex Engineering Corporation and was the first Energy Manager at Davidson College, where a successful energy and water management program was established, including securing a $150,000 grant for energy conservation projects. Additional experience includes serving as the Energy and Sustainability Management Assistant for the City of Charlotte, where proposals for electric vehicle charging station management were developed. Claire holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Davidson College and has participated in a Sustainable Development and Communities Program in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
