Imants Jaunarajs has extensive experience in higher education administration and career development. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Executive Director of the Career & Leadership Development Center at Ohio University since August 2012, Jaunarajs leads strategic partnerships within the Division of Student Affairs to enhance student success and develops collaborative opportunities between academic units and DOSA. Responsibilities include managing a million-dollar budget and serving on the executive leadership team as a direct report to the Vice President for Student Affairs. Previous roles include Assistant Dean of Students for the Career and Leadership Development Center at Centennial High School and Illinois FC, Head Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Senior Assistant Director for Career Counseling at the University of Arizona, and Career Counselor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Jaunarajs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Earlham College and a Master's degree from Western Michigan University, and is a Board Certified Coach since 2019.
