Jason Winchell has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jason started their career as a Computer Programmer at United McGill Corporation, where they developed and supported internal web applications and reporting solutions. Jason also maintained PHP and MySQL infrastructure and an extensive manufacturing documentation library.

After that, Jason joined Ohio University as the Assistant Director of IT Systems for Undergraduate Admissions. Jason developed and maintained integrations and data imports for the admissions CRM system. Jason also created data extracts and custom SQL reports and developed web forms using classic ASP and .

Jason then worked as the Talisma CRM Application Administrator at Ohio University, where they created data conversions, advised stakeholders on product features, and developed data integrations and extracts. Jason also worked as the Business Intelligence Application Administrator, where they configured and maintained the reporting platform and developed data models and reports.

Later, Jason became the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Architect, leading a team that supported a data warehouse, operational data store, and reporting platform. Jason scaled the implementation from a project staffed by consultants to a service with five full-time employees and almost a thousand users.

Currently, Jason is the Senior Director of Enterprise Information Systems at Ohio University, where they lead a team supporting university administrative systems, financial and HCM systems, and business systems. The team handles various responsibilities, such as enterprise reporting platforms, data warehousing, data integrations, and digital workflows.

Jason Winchell has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Franklin University, which they earned between the years 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Applied Business (A.A.B.) degree in Computer Science from Hocking College, where they studied from 2000 to 2002.
