Sara Legarsky

Sara Legarsky has a diverse range of work experience in the field of athletic communications. Sara began their career in 2010 as an intern at Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES. From 2010 to 2012, they also served as a Media Relations Intern for the Washington Wild Things, where they wrote game recaps, managed social media, and operated video cameras for game broadcasts. In 2009, they worked as a Sports Information Intern at St. Bonaventure University, where they were the main contact for men's swimming and diving and wrote releases and recaps for the school's website. From 2012 to 2014, Sara was an Oklahoma State Media Relations Graduate Assistant at Oklahoma State University. Currently, Sara is the Senior Director of Athletic Communications at Ohio University since 2014. In this role, their responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for multiple sports teams, and they have also served as the interim primary football contact.

Sara Legarsky completed their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communications at St. Bonaventure University from 2008 to 2012. Sara then pursued their Masters degree in Mass Communications at Oklahoma State University from 2012 to 2014. Before their college education, Sara attended Apollo-Ridge High School from 2004 to 2008.
