Vernon Kennedy

Vernon Kennedy is an accomplished business leader and academic with extensive experience in finance and entrepreneurship. As the Co-Founder and CEO of ActiveWrite, Inc., Vernon develops a decentralized document management platform that enhances document collaboration through a SaaS model. In addition to leading ActiveWrite, Vernon serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Finance at Ohio University, where the focus is on balancing theoretical concepts with real-world applications. Previous roles include Senior Program Manager at Stokes Evans, where Vernon facilitated leadership coaching and strategic planning, CEO/COO of Systems Documentation, Inc., and various vice presidential and managerial positions in asset-based lending at banks, such as Stearns Bank and Park National Bank. Vernon holds an MBA and a BBA in Management and Leadership from Ohio University.
