Mark Hiemstra has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in the field of Goodwill Industries. Mark is currently serving as the President & CEO of Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, Mark held various positions at Goodwill Central Texas, including Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2019, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives from 2009 to 2012, and Director of Commercial Services from 2009 to 2010.

Additionally, Mark has prior experience as the Chief Operating Officer of Sandusky Bay Area Goodwill Industries from 1994 to 2009.

Outside of Goodwill Industries, Mark co-founded and served as a Board Member for the Ohio Athletic Committee, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth athletics through state-level events. Mark has been involved with this organization since its establishment in 1999.

Mark Hiemstra attended Bowling Green State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology with a focus on Management & Technology. Mark also attended St. Edward's University, although the specific degree earned is not provided. Their field of study at St. Edward's was Organizational Leadership.
