Jun Kawabe

Jun Kawabe is an experienced educational consultant and language educator with expertise in Japanese and English language instruction. Since March 2004, Jun has served as the Director and CEO of Mirai InterCultural Language and Consulting LLC, focusing on business culture and language training for the global workplace. Concurrently, Jun has been a Senior Lecturer in Japanese at Ohio Wesleyan University since August 2005, where responsibilities include teaching, course development, and research grant acquisition. As the Director of the Language Program at the Japan-America Society of Central Ohio since April 2015, Jun oversees a diverse program involving over 50 students. Previously, Jun held positions at The Ohio State University and Earlham College, contributing to multicultural education initiatives and program coordination. Jun holds a Master's degree in East Asian Languages and Literatures with a focus on Japanese Linguistics from Ohio State University.
