Jeff Huston

Jeff Huston has extensive experience in music education and project estimation, currently serving as Project Estimator at Ohio Gratings, Inc. since October 2019. Concurrently, Jeff holds the position of Principal Trumpet with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic, a role maintained since 1984. Previous academic contributions include serving as a Brass/Music Education Adjunct at Malone University from August 2014 to October 2019, where responsibilities included Applied Trumpet Instruction, directing the Jazz Band, and supervising music education student teachers. Jeff also has a notable background in K-12 music education, having retired as Director of Bands at Sandy Valley Local Schools after 24 years and previously directing bands at Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools. Jeff holds a Master of Music in Music Education from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a minor in jazz from Bowling Green State University.
