William Hicks II

William (B.J.) Hicks II, MD, serves as the Vice President of Neurosciences and Co-Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Program at OhioHealth since 2012 and is also a practicing Vascular Neurologist. In addition to these roles, William holds the position of President of the Medical Staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital since July 2022 and has been a member of the Board of Governors for The Columbus Foundation since January 2023. William's leadership experience extends to the American Heart Association, where William (B.J.) has served as President of the Midwest Affiliate Board of Directors and as a Board Member. Prior to these roles, William was a Vascular Neurology Fellow at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed residency at Henry Ford Health System. Academically, William earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Morehouse College and a Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine.
