Tony Bagheri

EVP & West Coast Regional Director at OHL USA

Mr. Bagheri joined OHL in January 2013 as Executive Vice-President and West Coast Regional Director. To this role, he brings more than 32 years of experience in general and heavy civil engineering and construction, primarily on transportation infrastructure and utility projects in Southern California. He has completed projects for the Department of Transportation of California (Caltrans), the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Public Works Department, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, and the State of California Department of Water Resources. His experience also includes federal projects through the United States Army Corps of Engineers and rail projects for such private companies as Burlington North Santa Fe (BNSF) and Union Pacific.

Prior to joining OHL, Mr. Bagheri held increasingly responsible positions as a project manager, project superintendent, general superintendent, area manager, and Vice-President of Operations and Structures Division Manager for such heavy civil contractors as Kasler Corporation, the Griffith Company, Sully-Miller Contracting, and Skanska. One of his major projects, the Emergency Essex Bridge Replacement on I-40 for Caltrans, received the Marvin Black Partnering Award in 2008.

Mr. Bagheri received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from California State University-Los Angeles. Some of his current projects for OHL USA include the $75 million Machado Lake Ecosystem Rehabilitation for the City of Los Angeles, and the $34 million Magnolia Avenue / BNSF Railway Grade Separation project for the Riverside County Transportation Commission.
