Dave Wernick

Dave Wernick currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at OHR, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Dave held significant positions including Principal Bioprocess Engineer at BlueNalu, Senior Research Scientist at Amazon, and Enzyme Discovery Team Leader at BASF, among others. Dave's professional experience includes leading the development of bacterial enzyme expression platforms and conducting research on metabolic engineering at the Weizmann Institute of Science as a Fulbright Research Scholar. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, both earned from UCLA.
