Maryrose Gonzalez is an experienced professional with a diverse background in civic engagement, advocacy, and legal roles within various organizations. Currently serving as the Civic Engagement & Advocacy Coordinator at OIC of Washington since April 2023, Maryrose previously worked as a Care Navigator and a Cultural Competence Liaison at Comprehensive Healthcare, facilitating substance use treatment in the community and supporting tribal communities. Prior roles include Case Manager for the Parent Child Assistance Program at Triumph Treatment Services, School Director at Toppenish School District, Associate Judge for Yakama Nation, and various positions in the Yakama Nation Tribal Court. Maryrose has a solid educational foundation, including ongoing studies for a Master's in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University, a Master's in Business Administration, and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice.

Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of Washington is an Economic Development & Career Training Agency providing education, training, and supportive services to primarily low-income and rural communities across Washington. Locations include Mt. Vernon, Moses Lake, Pasco, Sunnyside, Ellensburg, Walla Walla, Wenatchee, and Yakima.
