Alfred Jongejan

Alfred Jongejan has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit and finance. Alfred is currently the Global Head of Internal Audit at Oikocredit, where they focus on improving audit quality and stakeholder relationships. Prior to this, they worked at Aegon Asset Management, where they established and led a new internal audit team and implemented investment management audit methodology. Before that, they were a Business Coach/Consultant at Transition Path Coaching, where they successfully executed a new business startup and provided finance and accounting consultations to business owners. Alfred also coached private clients through major life transitions. Earlier in their career, Alfred held various roles at Aon Corporation, including Director of Corporate Finance, Director of Internal Audit, and Manager of Internal Audit. In these roles, they developed and implemented risk-based financial controls, expanded audit coverage across multiple countries, and managed audit service delivery. Alfred began their career at EY as a Financial Auditor, where they delivered financial statements audit services and contributed to the implementation of controls-based auditing.

From 1979 to 1992, they attended NIVRA and obtained a degree in Public Accounting as a Registered Public Accountant (RA).

In 1994 to 1995, they studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they earned a degree in Operational Auditing as a Registered Operational Auditor (RO).

In 2010 to 2011, Alfred attended iPEC Coaching and obtained a degree in Personal & Professional Development Coaching as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC).
