Martina Polláková

Martina Polláková has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and organizations. Martina started their career as a Volunteer at Duha, an organization for children and youth, where they worked from 1996 to 1999. Martina then joined AIESEC, an international student-run NGO, as a Volunteer from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Economics in Bratislava. Martina also took on the role of a Junior Consultant at VVMZ, an international development consultancy, from 2006 to 2007. In the same year, they co-founded Oikos Slovakia, an NGO. In 2010, Martina joined the University of Hertfordshire as a Principal Lecturer in Economics. Martina then worked as a Research Consultant as a freelancer from 2005 onwards. In 2013, they became the Programme Leader for the MSc Proprietary Trading at Futex Proprietary Investment & Trading House until 2015.

Martina Polláková completed their education in chronological order as follows:

From 2003 to 2004, they studied International Economics and Development at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Erasmus School of Economics.

From 2000 to 2005, they pursued their MSc degree in International Business at the University of Economics in Bratislava.

From 2005 to 2008, they continued their education at the same university, obtaining a PhD in International Economics.

In 2007 and 2008, they attended the University of Cambridge, Centre of International Studies, focusing on International Relations.
