Anand Gupta

Anand Gupta has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as Executive Director and Chief of the Production and Development Directorate at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd since July 1987. Gupta has held several senior roles, including Group General Manager, General Manager, Deputy General Manager (Production), Chief Project Engineer, and Assistant Chief Engineer. Additionally, Anand Gupta served as Additional Director General (Development) at the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas from January 2020 to January 2023. Gupta holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Petroleum Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Gupta completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
