Stephen Kretzmann

Stephen Kretzmann has a strong background in environmental activism and policy work. Stephen is the founder of Oil Change International, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to that, they served as the founder and Executive Director of the same organization from August 2005 to April 2020. Stephen also worked as an Analyst and Organizer at the Institute for Policy Studies from June 2001 to August 2004. Before that, they co-founded the Oil Campaigns at Project Underground from 1996 to 1999. Stephen'scareer began at Greenpeace, where they held various roles from May 1988 to May 1996.

Stephen Kretzmann received their BA in Government + Economics & Drama from Franklin & Marshall College, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Prior to that, they attended Georgetown Day School from 1976 to 1982.
