André holds a civil engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and has spent 38 years within Total E&P Branch, including 20 years in various international postings. After having spent the initial third of his career in Drilling and Wells operations, he has fulfilled a number of different management positions. It included the position of Director of Angola Block 17, one of the major deepwater assets of the industry. He was for the last 5 years the Senior Vice President for Development and Support to Operations and a member of Total E&P Board of Directors. Over the same period, he was also President of Total Well Response. Since the beginning of 2020, he is Special Advisor to the President E&P.

Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) is the largest international industry-funded oil spill response cooperative which exists to respond to oil spills wherever in the world they may occur, by providing oil spill preparedness, oil spill response and subsea well intervention services. We are wholly owned by several of the most environmentally responsible oil and gas companies, and our membership represents the majority of global oil production. We currently employ 275 people across 10 locations around the world.
