Astrid Sørensen

Astrid has spent over 25 years in the oil and gas business with professional experience ranging from offshore operations, field development, exploration, strategy & business development to marketing and trading. She has held numerous senior and executive management positions and is currently Vice President Operations for the Kårstø Gas Processing Plant. During 2013-2016 Astrid was the Senior Vice President and head of Statoil’s joint operations for the Norwegian Continental Shelf responsible for the economy of scale operations including logistics and emergency response. She has also served as Chairman of the Board of the Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies (NOFO). Astrid holds an MSc in petroleum engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU.
