Francesco holds a degree in Business & Administration from the University of Pavia, Italy. He has over 27 years of experience in Eni in the Finance, Planning and Control area, in a number of countries such as Libya, Ecuador, the USA, Indonesia, and Egypt, with considerable experience working within different financial regulatory environments worldwide.
Currently, he is Eni UK Finance Director. He has overall responsibility for Planning, Economic Evaluation, Investment Monitoring, Budgeting, Cost Control, Reporting, Company and Business Performance Measurement, Accounting, Treasury, JV Accounting and Auditing, Taxes, Systems and Procedures for all the Companies of the UK E&P Business, in accordance with legal and contractual requirements and with Eni regulations and accounting standards.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of 40 UK companies and he is the Managing Director of Eni Ireland BV, Eni Denmark BV as well as Eni Mozambique Engineering Ltd.

Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) is the largest international industry-funded oil spill response cooperative which exists to respond to oil spills wherever in the world they may occur, by providing oil spill preparedness, oil spill response and subsea well intervention services. We are wholly owned by several of the most environmentally responsible oil and gas companies, and our membership represents the majority of global oil production. We currently employ 275 people across 10 locations around the world.
