James Pringle

James Pringle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in oil spill response and management. Currently serving as Team Leader and Duty Manager at Oil Spill Response Ltd since June 2020, James has a proven track record in incident management, team leadership, and the implementation of new technologies for operational efficiency. Previous roles include Project Manager for a significant shoreline clean-up operation in Sri Lanka and a crisis and continuity management advisor during a secondment at bp. With additional experience as a Hydrocarbon Spill Adviser at Woodside Energy and an Oil Spill Specialist at Saudi Aramco, James combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Strategic Leadership from the University of Portsmouth and a Chartered Manager designation from the Chartered Management Institute, complemented by a diverse background in mechanical engineering and law.
