Rob Holland has extensive experience in oil spill response and marine biology, currently serving as the Science, Technology and Stakeholder Engagement (STSE) Manager at Oil Spill Response Ltd since June 2003. In this role, Rob Holland builds relationships with stakeholders across various domains and assists in developing global response strategies, focusing on projects related to canine SCAT services, risk management, and wildlife response. Prior positions include Technical Lead and Principal Consultant at Oil Spill Response Ltd, and roles at BMT Cordah, OSIL, and Raleigh International, where Rob Holland gained expertise in oil spill modeling, marine monitoring, and field research. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Marine Ecotoxicology from the University of Exeter and a BSc in Marine Biology with Zoology from Bangor University.

Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) is the largest international industry-funded oil spill response cooperative which exists to respond to oil spills wherever in the world they may occur, by providing oil spill preparedness, oil spill response and subsea well intervention services. We are wholly owned by several of the most environmentally responsible oil and gas companies, and our membership represents the majority of global oil production. We currently employ 275 people across 10 locations around the world.
