Saskia Gijsen serves as General Legal Counsel a.i. at Oilinvest Group since January 2024, bringing extensive legal experience from Tamoil where Gijsen has been a Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Company Lawyer since August 2005, also holding the position of Corporate Compliance Officer since January 2015. Prior legal roles include Chief Legal Officer at Oilinvest Group from March 2012 to August 2014, and Company Lawyer positions at FruitMasters, ING Barings, and Rabobank. Gijsen began a career as a sworn translator specializing in Spanish-Dutch at vertaalslag, which spanned from March 1996 to February 2013. Academically, Gijsen holds a civil law degree from Utrecht University and has additional training from Crestcom and EFBQ.
