Ivan Calvachi

Ivan Calvachi has a diverse range of work experience. Ivan started their career as a Line and Rack assembler at ZT Systems in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Peer Mentor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology: Learning Communities. In 2016, Ivan had an internship as a Product Engineering Intern at Humanscale. After that, they joined Movo Chair in 2017 as an Engineer, where they were responsible for spearheading the human-centered design of a modern office chair. Ivan then worked at Project Niche in 2018 as a Design & Strategy Lead, where they led user research and co-authored product vision and strategy documents. Their most recent position is at Oishii, where they work as an Engineer.

Ivan Calvachi completed their education in a chronological manner. Ivan attended Kearny High School from 2009 to 2013. Ivan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Design and Innovation from Northwestern University from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Ivan Calvachi also obtained several certifications. In September 2018, they received the "Predictive Analytics Modeler - Explorer Award for Students" from IBM. In August 2018, they achieved the "Predictive Analytics Modeler - Mastery Award for Students" from the same institution. Furthermore, in June 2017, they passed the "FE Mechanical" certification from the NCEES.
