Maxfield Canto

Maxfield Canto currently serves as Engineering Manager I at Oishii, having previously held positions as Engineer II and Engineer III within the same company since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer in R&D at AeroFarms, focusing on design and implementation of systems in food manufacturing, and an M.S. Graduate Student at Penn State University, where research involved developing an autonomous system for frost damage prevention in apple trees. Maxfield also worked as an R&D Engineer at The Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory, contributing to frost treatment strategies for orchards. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Engineering, both from Penn State University, along with leadership roles in managing hydroponic farming initiatives and serving as Co-President of the Student Sustainability Advisory Council.
