Sam Lheron

Sam Lheron is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Oishii since February 2025, following a role as Senior Robotics Engineer at Tortuga AgTech from July 2021 to February 2025. Prior experience includes positions as a Mechanical Engineer and R&D Engineering Technician at Formlabs from September 2019 to July 2021, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Fluid Structures Interactions Lab from September 2018 to June 2019, where a research thesis on biomimetic robotic fish was completed. Additional experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at i2i Automation Inc, where prototypes for infrared heating units and vacuum heads were designed and fabricated, and a Highway Operations Internship at MassDOT, focused on updating snow plow routes and assisting with road maintenance projects. Lheron holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned in 2019.
