Waqar Arain

Waqar Arain is a skilled cybersecurity professional with a strong background in information security analysis and penetration testing. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Consultant at OISSG Consultancy since January 2024, Waqar has previously held the position of IS Analyst and Penetration Tester at Meezan Bank Limited from March 2022 to January 2024, where responsibilities included conducting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on various systems. Waqar's career began at OneNet Pakistan as a Trainee Security Engineer/Analyst from September 2021 to March 2022, during which extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies was developed. Educationally, Waqar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, completed in January 2021.
