Eduardo Fagundes

Eduardo Fagundes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Eduardo began their career at KPMG Brasil in 2005 as an Audit Manager, responsible for managing audit teams and reviewing financial statements with an emphasis on internal controls. Eduardo worked at KPMG Brasil until 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Eduardo worked at Spread Tecnologia as a Controller. During this time, they created the Controller department, trained a team of fifteen people, and integrated the areas of accounting, treasury, and tax. Eduardo also led the restructuring process of the GRUPO SPREAD, implemented a new tax planning strategy, and managed the migration of the group's database platform. Additionally, Eduardo implemented new financial reporting processes, standardized the ERP system across all companies in the group, and successfully reduced audit fees by improving internal controls.

Following their time at Spread Tecnologia, Eduardo joined Kallan Calçados in 2017. Eduardo initially served as a Financial Controller, responsible for the accounting, treasury, and tax functions. In 2019, they were promoted to Head of Finance and Administration, overseeing the finance and administrative departments. During their tenure, Eduardo implemented financial planning and analysis processes, improved the timeliness of financial reporting, and played a pivotal role in the due diligence process and post-sale integration after the company was sold. Eduardo worked at Kallan Calçados until 2021.

Most recently, Eduardo joined Bionexo in 2021 as Head of Finance and Accounting. Eduardo was responsible for the finance and accounting functions, leading strategic initiatives to optimize financial performance. Their tenure at Bionexo lasted until early 2022.

Currently, Eduardo Fagundes holds the position of Finance Director at Oitchau - Controle de Ponto e Projetos, starting in March 2022.

Eduardo Fagundes pursued their education at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2015 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance. Prior to this, they attended Uninove - Universidade Nove de Julho from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis degree. The field of study for this degree was not specified.
