Dominic Buckwell

Dominic Buckwell is a legal expert with extensive experience in the wine and maritime industries. Currently serving as a Legal Expert at the OIV - International Organisation of Vine and Wine since April 2021, Dominic has also held the position of General Counsel at Seaco since August 2006, where responsibilities include leading the Legal Department and acting as Vice President and Company Secretary. Past roles include Non-Executive Director and Legal Advisor at WINES OF GREAT BRITAIN from January 2016 to December 2022, and Solicitor Advocate at both Richards Butler in association with Reed Smith LLP and Holman Fenwick Willan LLP, specializing in maritime and international trade disputes. Dominic holds a Diploma in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Politics from Oxford Brookes University.
