Susan McDougal

Susan McDougal, Ph.D., currently serves as Personnel Commissioner for Ojai Unified School District since March 2024, and has been the President of the Board of Directors at Elite Academic Academy since June 2018. McDougal holds the position of Adjunct Professor at UMass Global since June 2005. Previously, McDougal was Principal at Palmdale School District from February 2017 to June 2018 and held the same title at Antelope Valley Union High School District from January 1994 to February 2017, overseeing instructional leadership for a high school with a staff of over 130 teachers and 125 classified personnel, and a student body of 3,300. McDougal earned a Ph.D. in Urban Education and Leadership from Claremont Graduate University in 2005 and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of La Verne.
