Cristina Izquierdo Castro PhD is an R&D Technician at Laboratorios Ojer Pharma since January 2019 and an Assistant Professor at Universitat de Barcelona since October 2010, specializing in Immunology and Protein Biochemistry and Purification for undergraduate Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Biology students. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Scientist, focusing on autoreactive B cell responses in Type 1 Diabetes and developing a novel ELISA technique, and PhD Student, where responsibilities included designing experiments, maintaining animal facilities, and mentoring students.
