Charles Almy

Charles Almy has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. From 2019 onwards, they served as Vice President of Product Development at Ojjo, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company. In 2017, Charles founded their own company called Balls to the Wall Design, LLC, where they assumed the role of Owner. That year, they also worked as a Sr. Staff Mechanical Engineer at Tesla. From 2014 to 2017, Charles was a Distinguished Product Development Engineer at Zep Solar. Charles also held multiple positions at SunPower Corporation, including Sr. Manager of Systems Design Group and Sr. Mechanical Engineer, from 2001 to 2013. In 2004, they founded Almy Design, where they worked as a Consultant/Sole Proprietor. Charles started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at George Martin Machine Company in 1999. Charles also served as President of the Super Mileage Vehicle at the University of California in 1998.

Charles Almy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000.
