Amina Shaikh

Amina Shaikh has worked in various roles over the years. In 2021, they are currently an Integration Specialist at Okadoc, where they are responsible for implementation of integrations on Okadoc Patient Engagement Platform in areas of telehealth, appointment booking, cloud pharmacy and lab integrations. Amina has also worked with region’s leading HIS' (Intersystems, Mediware, Practo, etc. ) and provider groups (Mediclinic, Fakeeh University, Medcare, BUPA etc. ), and implemented financial healthtech workflows (using HL7 standards) such as NPHIES integration (KSA) – Eligibility, Preapprovals and Claims. Amina has also migrated Okadoc API specs to Swagger (OpenAPI). In 2020, they were an Integration Specialist at Dubai Health Authority, where they provided life-cycle systems engineering and consulting support for system integration, system testing, go-live and post go-live activities. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Philips, where they held roles such as Software Technologist 1, Software Engineer II, Software Engineer, and Project Trainee. In 2020, they were also a Track Lead at HL7 India. Additionally, in 2013, they were an Intern at D-Link India Limited.

Amina Shaikh has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology from Manipal Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2010 and 2014. Amina then went on to receive certifications from Health Level Seven International, including FHIR STU3 proficiency in February 2018, and HL7 v2.7 Control Specialist in September 2014. In 2021, Amina began their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Alliance Manchester Business School, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. Amina also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020.
