Joseph Parker (Butch)

Joseph "Butch" Parker is an experienced emergency management professional currently serving as the EM Coordinator for Okaloosa County since November 2022. With a career that began in 1987, Parker has held various positions, including Operations Chief at North Bay Fire Control District and Paramedic at multiple organizations like Eglin AFB Hospital and Med Transport in DeFuniak Springs. Parker's expertise encompasses logistics, communications, training, and quality assurance in Advanced Life Support programs through extensive experience with Florida One DMAT. Parker holds an Associate's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Gulf Coast State College and a diploma in General Studies from Niceville High School.
