Cindy Berry has over three decades of experience in various roles within the financial and communications sectors. Currently, Cindy serves as Advertising & Communications Specialist and Electronic Communications Specialist at Okaloosa Gas District since January 1990, overseeing the management of the District's websites, OkaloosaGas.com and GreenNology. Prior to this role, Cindy worked at First Federal Savings from 1983 to 1990, where responsibilities included pre-qualifying, processing, and underwriting mortgage home loans, along with supervising tellers as Head Teller. Cindy's career began at Pantry Pride as a Grocery Supervisor from 1981 to 1985, where initial tasks included operating cash registers. Okaloosa Gas District
Okaloosa Gas District (the District) is a natural gas utility that constructs, operates and maintains a natural gas transmission and distribution system located over three county area in Northwest Florida. The District serves almost 50,000 natural gas residential and commercial customers. The District also serves Whiting Field in Santa Rosa County, and Eglin, Hurlburt, Duke, Ammo, TAC, Red Horse and the 7th Special Forces military installations in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Additionally the District sells gas to the city utilities of Milton and Gulf Breeze, and transports gas for TECO Peoples Gas in Panama City Beach. The District is a full service utility, providing a variety of gas related services including piping and installation in addition to offering a variety of gas burning appliances.
