Christopher Williams

Christopher Williams is an accomplished professional in multicultural student affairs and writing, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Multicultural Student Affairs and the James Farmer Multicultural Center at the University of Mary Washington since September 2017. Williams has a robust background as a contributing writer for various publications, including Okayplayer, Wax Poetics, Inc., Red Bull Records, The Huffington Post, Ebony Magazine, and Guardian News & Media, where interviews with prominent figures in music, culture, and politics have been a hallmark. Prior to this, experience as a Student Success Coach at Germanna Community College involved managing first-generation college students and facilitating academic tutoring. Williams holds a B.S. in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and an A.A.S. in Liberal Arts from Germanna Community College.
