Sjur Arneson

Sjur Arneson is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Reservoir Engineering Advisor at Vår Energi since January 2022. As the Owner and Managing Director of Arneson Kompetanse since January 2019, Sjur provides consultancy in exploration and production with a focus on subsurface analysis. Prior experience includes roles as Fenja subsurface lead at Neptune Energy and consultant at DNO Norge AS. Sjur held positions such as Director of Production & Reserves at both Neptune E&P Norge AS and VNG Norge, and has a solid background with Eni, BP, and Saga Petroleum. This extensive experience encompasses reservoir engineering, asset studies, business development, and production engineering.
