John Burke

John Burke is an accomplished venture capital professional and advisor with extensive experience across multiple firms and industries. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at The Kernel LLC, Burke has held a Managing Partner role at PROOF since January 2015 and is a Partner at Riverbend Capital since April 2016. Additional board involvement includes EdgeConneX, 410 Labs, Valencell, and Neon Labs, with investments in B-Stock Solutions, among others. Burke’s contributions to the venture capital sector are further exemplified by their role as a Finals Judge for the Global Venture Capital Investment Competition. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
