Alexey Vylegzhanin is currently a Technology Pioneer Fellow and PhD Graduate Student at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, where responsibilities include conducting optomechanics experiments with optical nanofibers and liquid crystal droplets as well as manufacturing optical nanofibers. Previously, Alexey served as a Visiting Researcher at ICFO, contributing to experimental atomic physics setups involving cold Rb-87 atoms, cavity-enhanced DLCZ protocol experiments, and EIT quantum memory experiments while also maintaining laser systems. Earlier experience includes teaching Cambridge Senior Mathematics at Zhengzhou Foreign Language School, preparing students for various competitions. Alexey holds a Master's degree in Physics from Moscow State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
