Eddy Taillefer

Eddy Taillefer is a highly experienced professional in scientific computing and data analysis, currently serving as the Section Leader at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University since September 2009. Eddy has extensive expertise in end-to-end management of HPC clusters, research data storage, and infrastructure design for data centers. Previous roles include HPC and Research Computing Engineer, Group Leader in the Physics and Biology Unit, and Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on computational biology and genomics. Prior to joining OIST, Eddy held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Fujitsu, a Research Scientist at ATR, and a Software Engineer at Thales. Eddy holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Doshisha University and a Master’s Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the National School of Applied Science and Technology.
