Jason Twamley

Jason Twamley is a prominent figure in the field of quantum science, currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Quantum Machines Unit at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University since April 2020. Twamley leads efforts to develop hybrid quantum devices that integrate various quantum technologies. In addition, Twamley has been an Editorial Board member for Scientific Reports since May 2015, focusing on quantum physics. Previous roles include Director of the Macquarie University Research Centre for Diamond Science and Technology and Professor of Quantum Science at Macquarie University, where Twamley contributed significantly to research and education in quantum mechanics. Twamley's academic qualifications include a PhD in Quantum Cosmology from the University of Alberta and a BA in theoretical physics from Trinity College Dublin.
