Jillian Poyzer-Johnson

Jillian Poyzer-Johnson, CPA, is an experienced educator in accounting, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Oklahoma Christian University since July 2020, where responsibilities include teaching accounting courses and mentoring students. Prior to this role, Jillian was an Accounting Lecturer at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from August 2011 to July 2020, focusing on various tax and accounting principles. Jillian's professional experience also includes working as a Tax Professional at BKD CPAs & Advisors from 2006 to 2011, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and conducting tax research. Earlier, Jillian contributed as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha's Nebraska Business Development Center and gained foundational experience as an Accounting Intern at Devon Energy. Jillian holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, both from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Oklahoma Christian University, respectively.
