Substitute Violin at Oklahoma City Philharmonic

Sara Sasaki is an accomplished violinist with extensive experience in various orchestras and educational institutions. Currently serving as a Substitute Violin for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and Tulsa Symphony Orchestra since 2022, Sara also held the position of Principal Second Violin with the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra until August 2023. Sara has a solid background in music education, having been a faculty member at the Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts and The Dallas School of Music, where instruction included violin, viola, and piano. Previous roles include Section Violin positions with the LAS COLINAS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA and Round Rock Symphony, along with management and librarian duties for the East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra. Educational qualifications include an Artist Diploma and a Master's degree in Violin Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin College.
