Anthony Childers

Anthony Childers serves as the General Counsel for Oklahoma City Public Schools, having taken on the role in January 2025. Previously, Childers was a Staff Attorney for the Oklahoma State School Boards Association from January 2019 to January 2025 and an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma State University, teaching education law. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at The Center for Education Law, focusing on education law and related legal issues. Childers began the legal career as an Associate Attorney at Wiggins Sewell & Ogletree, handling tort and corporate litigation, and has also worked as a Legal Intern and a Legal Research and Writing Assistant at the University of Oklahoma. Childers holds a Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a cum laude Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from The Catholic University of America, along with other educational qualifications in philosophy and Latin.
