Kate Haydon

Kate Haydon is an experienced professional in workforce development and education, currently serving as the Director of Workforce Development for Oklahoma City Public Schools since July 2025. In this role, Kate leads initiatives aimed at preparing students for successful futures through collaborations with educators, post-secondary institutions, and community partners. Additionally, Kate operates as a Career & Technical Education/Workforce Development Consultant for KH Career Connections, focusing on creating constructive opportunities for students. Previously, Kate held the position of Director of Academy Development at NAF from January 2017 to June 2025, overseeing teams dedicated to enhancing career-themed academies nationwide. Earlier experience includes various roles at Oklahoma City Public Schools, including Design Implementation Director and District Career Academy Coordinator. Kate holds a Master's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Bachelor's degree in Clothing, Textiles, and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University.
