Kristen Merritt

Kristen Merritt currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Development at Oklahoma City University since February 2024. Prior to this role, Kristen held the position of Executive Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement at the University of Central Oklahoma from February 2017 to February 2024. Kristen's career began at the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, where responsibilities included overseeing five departments and achieving a 70% membership retention rate while engaging with the board of directors and leading fundraising efforts from October 2010 to February 2017. Kristen earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma in May 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the same institution, completed in 2012.
